Rotary Drum Sieves are designed for high-efficiency filtration of wastewater containing fine particles, particularly fibrous materials.
Wastewater flows through stainless steel screen panels mounted on the rotating drum, where suspended solids are retained on the sieve surface while the filtered water passes into the outlet chamber. The retained screenings are continuously removed by a pressurized spray wash system, which cleans the screen surface and flushes the collected solids into the discharge hopper.
Rotary Drum Sieves are available in capacities ranging from 10 to 400 m³/h, with screen openings from 150 to 1,000 microns, depending on the treatment capacity and wastewater characteristics. All components, including the screen panels and structural frame, are manufactured entirely from stainless steel.
Thanks to their design, filtration and screen cleaning take place simultaneously, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted operation.
