Stable and Efficient Energy Transfer for Coagulation
Rapid Mixers are used in coagulation units and chemical solution preparation tanks in water and wastewater treatment plants.
The mixer consists of a direct-coupled motor, a vertical shaft, and an impeller rotating at speeds between 70 and 132 rpm to achieve rapid and homogeneous mixing. Standard units are available with motor powers ranging from 0.37 kW to 30 kW, with the final selection based on the type of liquid and the required treatment capacity. For applications outside this range, custom-designed units can be manufactured to suit specific process requirements and tank dimensions.
The shaft and impeller are manufactured from stainless steel in the required material grade. For highly corrosive or chemically aggressive environments, special material options are available to ensure long-term durability and reliable operation.
In addition to the standard radial impeller design, Rapid Mixers can also be supplied with axial-flow impellers where higher mixing efficiency and faster circulation are required.
