Davit Crane
For All Lifting Needs in Your Facility
Davit Cranes are primarily used in wastewater treatment plants for lifting equipment such as submersible pumps, submersible mixers, and Basket Screens. However, their robust and versatile design also makes them suitable for a wide range of lifting applications across various industries.
The system consists of a support column, an adjustable boom, a stainless steel wire rope, and a lifting unit. Once the load has been lifted, the rotating crane allows it to be easily positioned at the desired location.
Davit Cranes are available with standard manual hand winches in lifting capacities of 250 kg and 500 kg. For higher lifting capacities, they are equipped with electric hoists. The wire rope is manufactured from stainless steel, while all other components are made from galvanized steel or, upon request, stainless steel. Thanks to the specially designed bearing assembly, the suspended load can be rotated smoothly in either direction, even under full load, ensuring safe and effortless handling.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the lifting reach of a davit crane be adjusted?
The lifting reach can be easily adjusted by relocating the pulley assembly mounted on the boom. This allows the Davit Crane to handle loads at different working distances, providing greater flexibility for a variety of lifting applications.
What safety features are available on Davit Cranes?
The lifting mechanism used in Davit Cranes is equipped with a self-braking system. Even if the operating handle is released while lifting a load, the brake automatically engages to securely hold the load in position, preventing it from falling.
