In this significant project carried out by Alkataş–Nurol joint venture, we at Deniz Mühendislik are contributing with our mechanical equipment, including Rapid and Slow Mixers, Thickeners, Scrapers, and Penstocks.
As one of Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration’s (İSKİ) largest investments to date, the Cumhuriyet Water Treatment Plant will increase its existing capacity of 720,000 m³/day by 50%, reaching 1,080,000 m³/day. Thus, water supplied from the Melen system will be treated, transferred across the Bosphorus to the European side, and provide a sustainable solution to Istanbul’s water demand.
Set to become one of Turkey’s largest water treatment facilities, the İSKİ Cumhuriyet Water Treatment Plant will make a strong contribution to Istanbul’s water infrastructure; we are proud to be part of this project.
